The default values in the configuration will work just fine.
Before you change any values, please read the following notes:
» If you change the directory values, create and chmod 755 the new directories manually. Also, the /thumb directory should always be in the map image directory
» The allowed filetypes should be in this format(note there is no , at the end): zip, jpg, gif, rar
» Limit the number of characters displayed on the main maps page: will change the amount of text shown for the details on the main page, all text will be shown when the map is viewed.
» Limit the number of selected maps in group download: keeps users from getting greedy and hogging resources and bandwidth. If your maps average more than 5-10mb each, you may want to lower this but its mostly personal preference.
» The category and map thumbnail width and height control the width/height in the img tags. This is important for maps that have images hosted offsite or do not have thumbnail images. It also keeps things looking consistent throughout the module.
» The Generated thumbnail width and height control the generated thumbnail size. This should match the map thumbnail witdth and height for best results.
» If you change these sizes after you already have several maps, simply delete all images from your modules/Maps/images/maps/thumb directory and go to the maps admin page and click generate thumbs.
