I keep getting this error on all of the maps. I've checked mysql and everything looks good. It acts like the path in downloadmap.php may not be right. All permissions for the module/maps directories are at 777.
phpnuke 7.6 +2.9 patch

I am on the host server and have the site up in my browser. When I go to the Main Menu block and click on Maps, then proceed to click on the Download button, I get the error. |

And you did CHMOD the modules/Maps/maps folder to 777?
What file formats are you trying to download?
Did you verify the files are in fact in the folder mentioned above?
Also apply these edits if you have not done so already...

Yes, I verified:
the format type is .zip ( it is listed in mysql)
the permissions on all folders and files under and including modules/maps/* are read, write and exec scripts only.
the corrections were already made to the files but I verified it.
Can anyone download from me? or is it because I am on the server itself (the downloads module in phpnuke works though) |

No I am receiving the same error. But When I tried to use nuke with IIS, I was having alot of problems. You should seriously consider using Apachetriad...and all-in-one download and install of Apache, PHP, and MySQL
I am still working on this error though....

Thanks, I was running Apache as you suggested and ran into some limitations on some other issues then switched to Win2003 Enterprise Edition and experience some there. So I gave up and went back to what seemed to always work, WinXP Pro. I can live with its limitations.
If you need access in order to help, I will grant, just let me know by emailing me. Thank you very much.

the actual path is modules/Maps/maps/TK_-_Gunfight_OK_Corral.zip
It is listed in admin-edit-map as just the filename TK-Gunfight_OK_Corral.zip
When adding the map, the only way it would accept adding a map is by not including a path in the url box, instead, just typing the filename. The same was true about the map image.
It would always error out if I tried uploading. |

Can you recall the error? It appears that one of the folders is not reading as CHMOD 777. I have had this error before...but can not remember of that was the cause...although I am confident that was the problem.
The following folders should be CHMODDED to 777
root\modules\Maps\images...............CHMOD 777
root\modules\Maps\images\cat...........CHMOD 777
root\modules\Maps\images\maps..........CHMOD 777
root\modules\Maps\images\maps\thumb....CHMOD 777
root\modules\Maps\maps.................CHMOD 777
root\modules\Maps\temp.................CHMOD 777

should prompt a download and it doesn't. which probaly means the file is not actually in the location it should be. also check in the configuration in map manager and make sure everything is correct.
set me up with a new admin on your site and pm me the username/password and i can look things over for you. |

God help me, I feel so stupid !!! I left out the _'s in the filename in admin-edit-map url.
I am so sorry for the trouble I caused. It was so simple until your last post woke me up.
Thanks so much for your patience and help. You guys are great. |
