Hey I was just browsing the market for php encoding software and stumbled upon source guardian.

http://sourceguardian.com/products/php_encoder.htm

What you think?

I don't think it is as good as the ioncube encoder at http://ioncube.com

From what I understand, files encoded using source guardian can be decoded by anyone that owns it... but I may be wrong there.

Just choose carefully cause they are all pretty expensive.

The only thing that concerns me about encoding files. Is the fact that things are required to run them.

I know I wanna venture down this road as I don't wanna go through some of the same troubles as some before me.

Just deciding which one is the easiest for the user to deal with, while filling my needs also.

Another feature of source guardian that caught my eye was the ability to have a demo or set time frame the script would run.

This could be a useful feature for beta testing and etc.

Ioncube has the same thing, and I am taking advantage of that by offering a trial now.

I have used both in full version format and personally, I prefer the Ioncube one.
