This is actually already possible... Just open up modules/Digital_Shop/lib/functions.payment.php and add code to send a pm in the function paymentComplete()

I would like to see a coupon addition to assign coupons to previous purchasers of X product only.

Sorta, I will use my products as an example

if you bought clan roster 1.7, you make use this coupon for clan roster 2.0.

So specific to both products. I can't offer my previous purchasers a discount on a upgraded product.

Just an idea, i have the points mod install and it would be great if i could have a points settings to enter certain digital shop areas when a user reachs a certain post count. Would that be a hard add ? If not i would pay to have you code it for me as an extra. Please get in touch with me if you can do this for me my friend.

Sorry for butting in but rather than using the forums had you considered using nukes 'points' system? That already allows points for new forum posts and post replies.
If you are using Raven Nuke you can even set a certain amounts of points to make a user part of a special 'group'. I think this approach might be better from a future maintenance point of view but it is something to consider.

The ability to add optional fields that the customer can fill out with custom information or select items from a drop down list.

Also, the option to not have to upload a file... and if there is no file then it doesn't try and allow the customer to download a file.

Another idea, is the ability to disable any of the categories, items, and coupons and re enable whenever you would like.

This is helpful if you have seasonal special deals or coupons because you won't have to create them more than once, you just disable when the sale or whatever isn't on.

koshy Quite like that idea myself. It might be useful for those selling themes were they have seasonal themes like Christmas themes etc.
I know Gotcha has a huge list of things he is doing for the next release of Digital Shop so whether this one makes it onto the list for that release I guess only time will tell.

I like the idea(s) too, but at this point I can't add anything else to the list. I had kept adding more and more things to the list this time and it has put me behind a bit. So to keep things moving I've put a lock on new features and I'm working on finishing and testing what I have now.

Also, items can be disabled by setting "Item Active" to no and coupons can be disabled by setting the end date to yesterday.

I'm going to lock this thread for now and once 2.0.8 gets released I'll make a new suggestion thread.
