Next Version of Digital Shop - 2.0.8 - Post Suggestions Here

Version 2.0.8 is already in development but there is still time to add your suggestions.
Here is a list of the updates already planned:

- Fix all existing bugs
- Totally revamped fraud detection system that will cut down on false positives and allow you to approve or deny flagged purchases with a click of the mouse
- Edit: Add option to make purchases by "unverified" paypal users require manual approval.(as another fraud prevention measure))
- Selectable Item order in user side of the shop (Turn on/off in config).
- Item search feature (Turn on/off in config).
- Revamp the review admin section.
- Other various little tweaks and optimizations.

I would like to see a Tax/Vat addition to the shop that automatically adds on your respective countries Tax/Vat for business purposes

This option should be optional and the user should be able to specify what the amount is, for different countries.

Remember this is just a suggestion....

How about when using the DS as a standalone, the ability to be able to ship purchased items to the customers address.

So basically if you setup your shop to sell items and someone purchases 1 or more items, the would have to enter a shipping address. Maybe have a switch in the DS Admin area to turn the feature on or off.

I suppose that a tax feature and shipping charge feature would have to be in there as well.

If this is a feature that is in it now, then I am sorry I missed it. Enlighten me though, so I know where it is. Smile

Any ways, just my suggestion or opinion....

Just a minor find, i now have 2 pages of reviews showing, when some one submits a new review can we have it so it shows on the first page, and not the last (nit picking now...)

How is v8 going by the way ?

Just had a email from a client saying his email instructions were not to clear, is there a way maybe for us (admin) to look/edit the template.

I'm aware of this issue and have it on my list of things to fix. If you want to fix it yourself, it is very easy. Just edit the file modules/Digital_Shop/templates/XXX/ payment-complete-email.tpl

2 suggestions maybe some nuke blocks that will display the newest products

that can be displayed on the front page of nuke sites maybe even a scrolling block that will scroll the thumbnails of whats in the shop

and have it so the users (from the main nuke site) will be automatically signed up in the shop that way they wont have to register twice basically when they sign up for the main site that will sign them up for the shot aswell ( i guess have the users run off the same db

Well, the nuke package already comes with some blocks and it will run off the nuke users table so I'm not sure why people would need to sign up twice unless you installed it wrong.

Making the "block-Shop_New.php" block file scroll is easy. Maybe I will do it, just to do it. I will send you a copy of it once I am done with it ok.

I'm thinking of doing these...

Scrolling Up
Scrolling Left
Scrolling Right

I will more likely send them to Gotcha once I am done if he wants them. Give users a few more selections.

If you can make retain it's XHTML Compliant code then I'd buy it Smile

Unfortunately the marque tag is a problem.

To keep it XHTML compliant, just use this instead of the marquee tag...

requesting a "show in Block" feature

What i mean by this is say there is a Serivce thats you do like i duno CSS coding or something that dont require an image or a File

should have the option when adding the item/Service to "show in block" or Do not Show in block"
