That error is because Live Chat requires php5 or higher

It may be installed, but your web server might still be using php4. There are posts on this forum somewhere where a line in the .htaccess switched the php version. Your control panel also might have a switch. Too many different server configurations to know exactly what to do on yours, but a little digging should get you an answer.
