Thanks Guardian, I didn't know that Bob was re-writing NSN Groups. From reading the posts on his site I realized that I used the wrong wording on the post on this site. I was saying groups and sub-groups when I meant to say categories and sub-categories.

I meant to write:
I would like to see Nuke Docs v1 beta for RavenNukeâ„¢ implement categories and sub-categories. I would also like to see those categories/sub-categories and individual Doc pages have the option to assign them to specific groups.

NSN GR Downloads has all these functions built in. For example I could create a category called PHPnuke and a sub-category called Modules. And in the sub-category Modules I would have several downloadable files each having their own group option. But instead of downloadable files (meaning readable only files) I would have NukeDocs and each NukeDoc would then have its own group option. I could then assign individual NukeDocs to specific groups.

I would then be able to provide a few Tutorials and Manuals to anonymous users to get them interested enough to register so that they could have access to registered-only Tutorials and Manuals.

I don’t believe that NSN Groups alone would support these functions, well as far as I could tell it couldn’t.

Well that’s my 2 cents. I hope this cleared up any confusion. I will be anticipating the new NSN Groups.

gotcha - I know you are phenominally busy at the moment but just wanted to ask if you had any plans to apply fixes for any known bugs in the Docs module in the near future?

I will be writing a fair amount of documentation/tutorials over the next few months and although I already have/use Tutouriax I would prefer to use the Docs module (which I'm using as well) as it is more light weight (in terms of resource usage).

I too prefer the Docs module. I have created RavenNukeâ„¢ Installation Tutorial using the Docs module but I often run into a few of the know issues.

gotcha – we would all love to see this module mature.

Yeah, I plan on working on this but time has been short lately. I'll have more time pretty soon(starting in a week or two) and will start getting caught up on some of this stuff when I can.

Because I mentioned GESHi here I had better follow up and mention Secunia issued an alert for it today from the vendor. The latest version is ok.
Spooky really as I was on their site yesterday looking at it again - pretty cool that it will syntax highlight text inside specific classes or div elements e.g. div id=php will syntax highlight php code etc.
Pretty smart!
I'm thinking of adding it to my forum when I get a chance - though that could be a while as I still have the stuff you sent me before, just not got around to it Sad
