i'm so sick and tired of having to go threw the registeration process just to download a file
it's stupid and a large discouraging factor for lots of people we have severial websites with hundreds of files available for download no registeration required , never once has there ever been a problem

whats the pourpose??
just to get another # on your site

i use a e-mail account just for this purpose,,, sites say "we do not sell,share or give away your personal info" bullshit that account gets HUNDREDS of spam mails every day from websites that say your personal info is secure Bullshit

You obviously don't mind registering to vent your spleen and hurl abuse at someone you don't even know and blaming them for spam amongst other things.

If you feel so strongly about having to register on websites then show your displeasure by not registering.

I cannot speak for this site but on my own websites, the reason for requiring registration is to ensure those who download my products get the support they need and I do not waste my time giving support to people who download pirated copies of my software from sites who "have hundreds of files available".

I am always looking for new ides so if you have any links to e-commerce sites that do not require registration or need any details to be able to download things, please post some links.
