Hello! Any quick fixes anyone knows of for these? I can do a manual backup and it saves fine with the exception of the email function, but I can live with that.
However there are two problems:
when I go to the backup module it says Last Backup [] with no date. It doesn't recognize the last backup even though it lists the latest backup files
when I configure it to do an auto backup it does nothing
The folder is chmod 777 - as I said, the manual backups work fine not the auto
I'm running a well-patched Nuke 6.9
thanks for any suggestions! |

did you include the footer code?
did you run the install file?
the only reason the last backup time wont show that i can think of, is because the tables didn't get installed and that would also explain why the autobackup and email is not working. also make sure you configured everything in the advanced backup admin panel.
if this isn't the problem, let me know! |

Hello thanks for replying!!
I deleted the folders and uploaded them again, re-installed the "backup" directory and chmodded it 777. I also deleted the database and ran the install file again, it's doing the same things again. It's not registering the "lastdb" value into the database which is the problemI think. It can't make the auto backups because it doesn't know when the last old backup occured. Is there a way I can hack the script so that it does'nt pay attention to the time of the last backup? Any new ideas?
It's still saving the files just fine though... |

yes it is possible to use it as a cron, but the script would have to be modified a bit. if you really want this script to work, i could help.
option 1 - set me up a temporary ftp access and and admin account for your site so i can try to fix it (im here to help, not mess up anybodys site so don't worry)
optinon 2 - modify the dump script so it can run under cron and still be able to email, delete, ect.
let me know what you want to do. |
