I'm going out on a limb here and I want to make it clear I am not speaking for Gotcha, I am speaking from my own experience.
I'm not sure which software Gotcha is using to encode the script but it looks very much like Ioncube Encoder which means he has to manually go and create a license for every domain.
I sell encoded scripts which have nothing to do with nuke and for me to offer a free license for every sub-domain would mean I would very quickly be spending more time creating licenses than the script earns me for my time.

The whole point of 'buying' a script is to help ensure the future development of that script. Personally I think I'm getting a bargain at 26.99 and although it would be nice to be able to buy a sub-domain license for say 10 bucks or something to cover the time involved etc, I look at it from the business angle;

Am I going to get a return on my investment?

If I'm going to get a return on my investment, that is to say, will I be able to generate enough business to pay for the script within a month or so then it's a no brainer, so long as it has the features I need, then go buy it.

If I'm not going to get a return, then why am I buying it in the first place?

I'm sorry if I was a bit hard on you in my post James but I have a bit of a problem when people starting spouting this is crap or that is crap without at least giving the coder or seller a chance to investigate and offer a remedy.
It would be like me saying Evo is crap because Tech is not planning any further updates to it after the next release or it is crap because it is still using double quoted vars instead of single quoted vars (which is safer and quicker).

Any way, this is quickly getting off-topic lol.
How is Steve these days? Is he still on the Evo team?

@Gaurdian

Yes & No... Steve is still on the Dev Team, but has been away for some time due to him having a major move and getting married just recently and another move to Canada now. He's doing good.

@Nuke-Design

He's talking about Perfect-Games who is Steve

Cheers,

i think maybe the next version should at least include a license that will work with the main domain and all the sub under or after it

Sorry, but I have no plans to include unlimited sub-domains

also maybe look in to the whole nuke-evolution cms and provide a evo packe for the shop

The standard nuke package will work great with evo, and there are several users that are doing just that. The Mortal even got it working with the latest development version of evo so there is really no need for a separate package.

right now well it prob the most use CMS IMO

While it is very popular, I highly doubt it is the most popular CMS. I would say that joomla and drupal are probably at the top of the list right now.

My goal is to roll out an extension of the shop to handle this around the time I release 2.0.8. I'm not releasing any details about this yet because I haven't made any final decisions yet.

neways where were we?

ahh yes gotcha about my post regurding the subdomains i dont necessarly mean unlimited subdomains im talkin just 1 subdomain just incase ( my case) others want to test out each version so see how each works and which would be better to use other that that all seems good

if not well should at least let people know about using a trial license to test things cause i dont think they will know about that
