I am noticing that its not uploading the files. Its uploading the images since i changed the file paths back to the original, but the files say they are uploading, hell, they site like that for like a few min then says upload was successful, but I cant seem to find the file in the FTP, and when I click in the item configuration, it says file does not exist. Is this where you will tell me that I will have to manually input all of them, which I don't mind, its just a feature that I do like.

Yes the folder is chmod to 777.

I do have one more question, is there a way to space the categories on the main index of the shop, like where you see all the categories? There a little to close for personal taste.

Just edit the template file. If you are using the default template
modules/Digital_Shop/templates/default/*
If you are using a custom copy of the defult template
modules/Digital_shop/templates/YourTemplate/*

I ended up doing it a different way, I created a new page that just calls on the main files and the header and footer, and made a button that would forward them to the module after reading the rules, I figure I rather do it this way then editing the templet file. Thanks anyways. Very Happy

Okay, that whole issue of the uploading came back, it was acting strange, Some times it would load the images and the files, then other times it wouldn't upload anything. I do like the functionality of this but I am still thinking if I want to spend the $34 for it. I don't know if you would have a fix for this issue if I were to buy it.

If I were to buy this, what does it include, will this entitle me to free updates or will I have to spend $35 dollars each time you make an update or patch something. I done a quick search for info on that because I don't want to buy anything that is going to be obsolete in a month or so. I see your asking for suggestions for the next version so I am taking that it will be complete in the near future.

more info would greatly appreciated.

What can I say?
There are a lot of people using this software without any issue at all but the fact your uploading problem is intermittent might make it quite hard to track down the exact problem. PHP normally limits a max file size of 2Mb on a shared hosting environment so provided your files are below that limit, we can rule that one out. Some hosts do not allow uploading of exe files so again, we can probably rule that out.

I don't think the software is going to become 'obselete' any time soon - I have been using it for over a year now without any problems.

What I mean by that is I don't want to go buy something, then be told, "hey we have a new version, fixing the areas we messed up on and these new items, pay me $35 bucks again and you will get it." .

To me thats not right, and I see people doing it and thats what stops me from helping them out by buying there items. I don't mind buying anything once if it means that I wont have to worry about a update saying hey, we found errors, pay me and you get the fix. When I see that it just discourages me.

Thats why I wanted to know if that is the case here.

As for the files, 99% of them are over 2MB in size and it was the largest ones that were uploading.

Well I cannot speak for gotcha who wrote the script but I'm quite happy to pay for my yearly license as support is always good and the script is always being updated. Provided you have a valid license, fixes are put in your customer download area for you to grab whenever they are released. As new version comes out, the same thing happens.

What you mean by Yearly License?

I have no problem with supporting projects or paying for them, ask tim from Driven by Faith/ Pro nuke. I been helping him out with his projects, Been having a little problem latly with his latest one working on my site, still working on it but I like beta testing his projects and give him insight to fixes that are needed or suggestions. And yes, i paid for the item I got from him and I have been 100% happy with his work, and I don't doubt that this place would be any different. But I hate to buy a item and have a new and better version come out shortly after I paid for the one I have and be stuck dishing out more $$$.

all i wanted to know if its a 1 time purchase, and the updates are free, or if not, would the upgrades cost the full price or would people who bought it only have to pay like a small percentage or get the updates for free.

Other then that, I do think the errors I am having is rather strange, But if I buy this product, I will work with it some more, if not then I probably stick with one of the free store modules and use them, which I have found is not as nice as this one.

I believe it is automated. If you follow the instruction for getting a license it should work as far as I know. Although I bought mine over a year ago I got my license immediately so I do not think it has to be generated manually.
