I've installed the map manager on our site and for some reason they maps just don't work right... I can put the maps on the server and then link it from the admin page, but when we go to download them, we get
"The requested file could not be retrieved. "
and when I go back to the admin page, under map link, it has the name of the image we uploaded!

You might not be putting the right path to the map. Also, strange characters in the filename can sometimes screw things up.

Like underscore's?

Underscores and dashes are fine. Things that can cause problems are spaces, ( ), { }, !@#$%, etc.

OH, I there may be a bug that is causing this problem. Check out this thread for a possible fix:
