Hi. I can't tell from the listed features, but is the script that I buy going to be encrypted? meaning, will I be able to make modifications to how the script works, or the layout, add my own features, etc?

if it is encrypted, and I can't make those modifications, is there another charge for an unlocked version?

Parts of the script are encrypted but most of the stuff you need to access, like the templates etc are not.
You can always try the trial version to make sure it meets your needs but many here have customised their Shop without any problems at all.

It uses the smarty template system and you can write smarty plugins to interact with the script (php knowledge required) and gotcha has left some parts unecrypted like if you wanted to do an action after a payment is processed.

Just take a look at what we have done at www.clanthemes.com/shop.html. We have probably 5 plugins we have written to interact with the shop like currency conversions.
