It seems every user has to register to pay on Paypal. Is there a way around this? The more steps a person needs to take, the less likely they are to buy.
I would change the code myself but it's encoded in the ioncube encryption. Why do they need to register anyway? Could this be optional in the next version?
Also, I see no button to change a lost password. Am I missing it? I know I've lost so many passwords that this is imperative, especially if they have to register. |

Yes users have to register to make a purchase, which is pretty much a standard for e-commerce sites. Allowing anonymous purchases would expose you to more fraudulent purchases(ie. hacked paypal accounts, stolen credit cards, etc).
The other reason is that the purchased files are attached to a certain user ID and that is how they can retrieve their purchased files. The next version will be completely new so I can possibly work in an option for anonymous purchases.
And you are right, I didn't include a lost password function and I'm really not sure why. I'll make sure I include one with the next update. |
