error accessing the server!

I have looked at all the posts pertaining to this message and did not find anything that helped. I downloaded and installed the latest version of the script and installed and activated the module.

There is also no livechat.php, live_chat.php file or anything of that nature in the dist I downloaded.

It is at http://mafia357.mywebteks.net/modules.php?name=Live_Chat

Admin panel for it works fine but can't get the chat to work.

I just downloaded the package and the file is there.
You may want to update Nuke Sentinel as well as your IP to Country data is well out of date.

just tried it again and no luck, got the same message, then tried it again and it worked so ????

Again keep getting the same error, seems to work then not work

Sounds like the problem is with your hosting provider

Hey Folks,

got something that sounds very similar:
When i open the live-chat i got the following error-message (debug on):

Error accessing the server!
TypeError: httpRequest.responseXML is null

Just did a few modifications to run under php4.
The Admin-Area is working very well.

Perhaps one of us got an idea what the problem could be.

Not sure why you are altering the code for PHP 4 as PHP 4 is 'end of life' and no longer maintained.
Live Chat was written to run on PHP 5

Got - Error accessing the server! in chat window and

DB ERROR in the admin area - and clicking the live chat admin does nothing..
