Hello again;
We have everything transfered and working (sort of); except new uploads only seem to remain online in the temp uploads folder for 24 hrs; after which I guess they are removed from the server (not by us).
Is this factual? If so, how do we disable it?
If this is not a built in feature.. does anyone have a clue as to what might be going on here? The first day the files were on our server, no problem... the 2nd day - they just vanished into thin air with a 404 File Not Found error when trying to check them through the map Admin.
Thx and I'm now confused. |

yes, it is supposed to do that, and it can be adjusted in the config. the temp folder is not intended to be used to store maps, it is used for the group download feature to write the tar.gz files in. |

Okay understood on the temp folder issue.
Why are uploads being placed into this folder? Our folders in order of appearance within the map config are:
downloads
downloads/MapPics
downloads
modules/Maps/temp
My apologies for the silly questions here; but your programming is very nice and we would very much like to continue using it; especially to see the new release !!  |

Are you approving the maps in the admin section? The user submitted files go into the temp folder pending approval by the admin. |
