The first is prolly cause I'm a phpnuke nOOb, but after installing, and setting some maps up etc, when you click on the link for more i get the following: "The html tags you attempted to use are not allowed" , I'm running 7.8 phpnuke. Any thoughts? What did i screw up!?!
Secondly, the rating system ... how do i activate it? I see no place to turn that on? |

hrdflr,
Firstly, the rating system is active...you simply need to cast a vote while in Map View.
Secondly, as for the "The html tags you attempted to use are not allowed"...look closely at the text you entered, it is very possible that you have certain characters that nuke may view as HTML tags. Find another character to replace the suspected ones.
Please post here the results....

Ghost, now that I was able to get into the map page, i saw the rating option!
Thank you so much, you were completely right about the characters. what it was: when I uploaded the map, and gave it the same name as teh file name: CTF-(s^3)Diamondsword-2K5, it wouldn't recognize it thus giving me the error, now I changed and actually dropped the CTF-(s^3) part to give me Diamondsword-2K5 and there are no problems. The brackets must have done it. I didn't even think of that! Thanks so much, sometimes it takes an outside source to help you see that which is right in front of you!
I will get this up and running, absolutely awesome module guys! Thanks for the help, keep up the great work! |
