I haven't used the function in phpNuke that backs up the database since I installed Coppermine and realized that the online backup caused serious issues with true backups.

Is this module totally different from the one installed in phpNuke? Has it been tested when Coppermine is installed in the database? I would love to use this (in fact was thinking about this the other day)... but I found out the hard way before when relying on something other than going directly to my phpAdmin and exporting.

Yes this is totally different than php-nukes backup utility. I haven't tested it with coppermine installed yet. It should back up fine no matter what is in the database.
