Nice script, however it kills my server with large back up. Here I am, still waiting for it to finish overloading my server. My database size is about 80 megs.

I think it's great for smaller databases? Anyway I love anything that's automated!

I'm working on finding a workaround for large databases. If you register here you will have access to the Script Depository, which is like CVS. I keep the updated files there.
