First of all - thank you for this module!!!

Here is my problem:
I have my map and image directories already existing in a seperate directory structures and locations than, as well as a virtual directory.

Assume that:

    C:\www\images\
    is my Image directory
while the current virtual directory is www.mysite.com/images

&
    C:\Games\Maps\
    is my Maps directory
while the current virtual directory is www.mysite.com/maps

How can I get Map Manager to work so that when I upload an image or map it searches my custom folders instead of the default
C:\www\phpnuke\modules\Maps\images\maps
&
C:\www\phpnuke\modules\Maps\maps

Question Question

Thank you ahead of time.

ok you need to go into your map manager configuration and change the values for those directories.

assuming your nuke root is "C:\www"

Change your map images directory to "images" without the quotes

Change your map file directory to "../Games/Maps"without the quotes

the "../" will move you up one directory so you can get to your Games folder.

thank you. Your response made it possible so that the files could be saved in the directories I needed.
HOWEVER the linking did not work off the bat.
Because the virtual directory structure for the site is different than the actual directory structure, the MapManager module wanted to pass along file link as was entered into the MapManager Configuration page under Map files directory.

I fixed this by creating a virtual directory that had the same root name as the one specified in the Map files directory (i.e. Games because ../Games/Maps is the actual directory) and relinked the /Maps subfolder of C:\Games\ to the already existing /maps virtual directory for my site.

(I know this may be confusing, but it is here in case someone might need it. I have an IIS server).

@ Gotcha
as a side note, it would be beneficial (in a future release) if we had an option to specify both the directory location and the virtual directory name in the configuration.

Just my 2 cents.

Thank you for your help and this module. I like it a lot
