We post web stats for every rd we have a log file for. In TFC we use Logalizer and one of our members is making a logalizer type program for DODS and CSS. These type programs take log files and pull stats out and generate them into html docs. With an index.html being the home page for viewing.

With this said it would make life so much easier if there was a url entry with each map addition. Something on the add map page to where you could enter a url and a name for the url. If you could just leave it blank if there was no url to create a null entry it would not effect anyone who did not want to link. Any type of url addition to the map add would work pretty much. This would be sepperate from the map image.

This would be huge for me if you could add it to the map manager.

Please consider this I really want this feature and I am not a coder Wink

I am trying to understand your request here, and I am getting somewhat lost. So I am going to guess at wha you want, and then I will need you to clarify. Although my php skills are seriously lacking, this maybe something I can accomplish.

Your idea:
In the "Submit Maps" add two additional Text Fields for URL and Title. URL will display as a Text Link. This addition would be needed in both Admin and User Map submittions.

This sounds somewhat easy....assuming that my understanding is accurate.

Yes I think you are right on track with what I am looking for. I want to be able to add a url link field with a viewable name field to where I can add a link to a stats folder and give it a specific name to be viewed on the website. I will be to a point of adding all this data this weekend so I will hold off until I am here back from you Wink

Do not wait for me. My knowledge of php is limited at best. I think I can get this to work, but how long it may take, I have no idea. Go ahead and do what you need and I will get started on this.

Please be more specific as to where what screen you want the URL's to appear....create a screenshot with a cheap example using paint or whatever.

Thank You for the offer Ghost, but I just realized that I can accomplish all of this through vWAR which is where it really needs to be, sorry for any hastle.

What is vWar ad what does it do?

vwar is a clan management module that tracks roster matches stats allow for match signups for members a whole lot of stuff. Most of the links in our Knights menu are part of the vwar module.

I use Map Manager to put maps and match demos and logs up for download we are not through entering demos and maps yet. Only around 600 demos to go w00t lol.
