I was wondering about the security of the shop module

Can they download it more than once?
How does it work?
Can I deactivate the download?
If not will future releases have the ability to auto disable the download once it has been downloaded once?

I a very interested if it is right for me.

Right now I am messing with edelivery 3.0 from rushtheweb.com.

And finally! WHere did you get that coool mouseover for the forums that shows the first post.

Yes they can download more than once if you let them. You have the ability to delete them from the "client list" which will prevent them from downloading again.

How it works:
The customer clicks the "buy" button and is taken to paypal to pay for the product. Paypal sends the "ipn" to your site and that file will email the customer information on how to download along with an access password. The link in the sent email will take them to the page to enter their paypal email address and the password. Once they do, they get the file.

Future Versions:
I plan to add a feature to limit the number of downloads for each product among some other little enhancements. An update is probably a couple of months away. Also, i have a small update that I need to upload that allows admins to resend the email with the download info (I will do that right now, it just needs packaged up.

The Mouse Over in forums:
Thats a combination of a phpbb mod and a java script. I will release it to the free downloads ASAP for those interested.

How long would it take to add the option to self deactivate once it is downloaded once. Or maybe have ti expire after 24 hrs.

I could set it up to deactivate after 1 downoad pretty quick. But for the next version, i want the limit to be configurable. If you buy it, I will set you up right away.

I will buy it tonight when I get home. It is just that with selling themes I think that this is going to be the best way to do it. what time will you be online? I will be online around 5PM central (USA).

i to am looking into the Digital Shop, very nice module. I am also curious 'bout having the download link go bad after one download. If that is possible, i'd be willing to purchase the module late this evening due to work hours at the moment.

And how secure is this module? I guess that matters to how secure my web hosting server is, lol.

I just bought it and I am happy with it. I am doing some modding to it. I myself have a couple suggestions though. Which would be for later releases.

I haven't gotten to test that out yet. My site went down.. I am just testing and looking over things on my localhost atm. I think what he will do it make a patch for those of us that want that option.

getting some errors while trying to add files

ERROR: File permissions not set

Also, I am not able to see module. When I try to see module i get the following error

Hi, looks like you missed a folder that needed CHMOD.
What version of nuke are you using and what is the url you are using when you get that message?
