Does this have to be on for this module?
I keep getting the "check your permissions error" and searching this forum shows that I need them on. Is having registered_globals the only way to have this script fully functional? |

I'm running PHP 5.1.2 with register_globals off at the moment.
I dont believe it needs to be on, from what I remember, it's better for it to be off.
As for the file permission issue, I have encountered that myself and am discussing the possible cause of it with gotcha.
It has been a long and hard week for both gotcha and myself, due to medical emergencies with both of our wives'.
Hate to spit out a seemingly standard corporate reply but, "Please be patient, while we try to figure it out." |

I hope all turns well for both you and gotcha.
Im just glad to hear that hopefully registered_globals is not needed. Would hate to open up all those vulnability's for this very useful map script.
Thanks Guys for you work on this. I for one plan to put this module to heavy use. |

Any word on this because even logged in as admin you cannot edit a map unless registered_globals are on and that is not really an option to turn them on. Please recode this to not use registered globals. I wub this module and want to keep using it. |

As I stated in response to Sticky, I am running my dev server with register_globals off, and have never run with them on, the only issue I am experiencing and currently working on is the file permission thing. |

I know what I was saying was that the 2 are related. If you turn on Registered Gloabals the file permision is fine and you can edit files and such, but with it off you cannot. |
