The store will not let the user have the file until the check clears, so it is usually 3-4 days after the purchase before they can download. |

Ok say a custumer buys a product, and its a digital, how can we protect our selfs if they recive the item, but go though paypal and file a dispute?
where most time end up in a refund, unless you send them some sort of product in realm life like a letter stating thier buy. and have a tracking mail code to prove you sent the buyer thier product..
my question is with this system are we protected from this, do we have some sort of tracking, to prove the buyer got what they paid for??? |

If someone files the dispute you have several ways that you can prove the buyer got their product. First you have the emails from paypal, confirming the purchase. Then you have the Client manager, that shows you how many times they have downloaded the produce. You also have server logs that will show their IP accessing the download page. Another line of defense is the purchase agreement. If you state clearly on the purchase agreement that there are no refunds for digital goods then most disputes will end up in your favor as the customer has to agree to your terms before being able to pay for the product. |
