Hello,

I have installed your Live chat on my web site but I do not get the chat screen. All the admin tools work but nothing when running the module. I am using PHPnuke 8.0

I found the problem. My host allows for PHP5 but it is not the default. I had to make a change in my site settings to change it from 4 to 5. Thanks for looking for me.

Mine was the same after instalation yesterday, when i saw this thread, i thought, great a solution, so i changed the default php4 to 5 after reading the instructions from my host, which was to put this....SetEnv DEFAULT_PHP_VERSION 5....into .htaccess file in my ftp, which i did, the chat page did then come up but with this error....Error accessing the server!..... so now another problem.

Thanks for any help
Ray

Good point, some hosts offer php5 but you have to enable it.

As for your other problem, you should enable debug as shown in this post:
http://nukecoder.com/ftopicp-1824-Live_chat_Error_accessing_the_server_.html#1824
and let me know what the error is after you do that.

Had the same problem. Updated my server's PHP to 5+, worked perfectly.

Thank you very much for a beautifully crafted module.
