I keep getting an error "You are not allowed to upload this type of file".

I get this error when trying to upload cat images or product images. The files upload
without any problem. I have just upgraded to 2.0.8. I tried to restore the files I had
since they worked (2.0.6). Now I cannot upload images with that either. I have tried
clean install, double checked the install and still I get the same error when uploading
any type of img.

I am using Nuke Evolution Xtreme 2.0.7 (this is simply a package of evo that has tons of mods already installed.) I was using this same package when the store worked before the upgrade.

I have chmodded the files as directed in the instructions as well.

My server uses php5 and SQL 5.

Any idea's would be great.

Thanks,
killigan

What image types were you trying to upload? I'll check it with mine.

As I said before. It does not matter what image type I try to upload. I get the same error. I wouldn't care really if I add the images through ftp and write the link to them. However, then I don't get the image resize with it.

I think we can rule out the server as a possible problem for 2 reasons. My other site on the same server uses the shop and it works perfectly but its 2.0.7 and I upgraded from 06 to 07 then 2.0.8. This is a little
irritating.

I have tried to chmod the modules/Digital_Shop/Storage files to 757, 755 and 777 and I get the same results with all of these.

I have also moved the images folder and link above the public_html to where the shopfile folder is. I can upload files in .rar and .zip to the shopfiles folder but I still get the same error with the images uploading.

Thanks,
Killigan

It has been a while since I looked at my own Shop since the last release, although everything is working fine but I'm using what I *think* is the default paths for images
modules/Digital_Shop/storage/shop/images
modules/Digital_Shop/storage/shop/cat_images

When you upgraded, did you overwrite your lib/constants.php with the new one? It contains some important new settings reguarding uploads. Another thing to look at is the shops logs, error_php.log.
