I can not backup my DB. All I get is An error occured while backing up the database!

I need some details about your server setup(OS, apache version, php version, MySQL version) and nuke version before i can help.

OS is linux 7.2(unix)
MySQL 3.23.58
PHP is 4.3.10
Nuke is 4.6 patched 2.9
Apache 1.3.23

some things to check....

did you run the install file
does your backup folder exist and does it match exactly what you set in the configuration
chmod 777 the backup folder

Thanks the chmod 777 did the trick.
